Area State Parks
We are neighbors to Starved Rock State Park, Matthiessen State Park, Buffalo Rock State Park, and Illini State Park, which means you will find no shortage of hiking, birdwatching, biking, and picnicking spots. If you are seeking more outdoor adventures, you can book skydiving, zip lining, or off-roading adventures (requires your own equipment) nearby. For a quiet afternoon outdoors, you might visit a local orchard to pick fruit and savor the season’s harvest.
